Senior Account Associate – Client Portfolio Management
- $3,800 – $4,500 Basic + Bonus
- 5 days work week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of accounting records, management reports, financial statements, and compliance-related submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, etc
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc
- 3 years of accounting experience in an accounting firm, outsourcing firm, etc
- Strong experience preparing full sets of accounts and financial reports.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero; and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Prepare and review full sets of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Review general ledger transactions and investigate discrepancies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients on accounting matters.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide professional accounting advice.
- Liaise with clients to obtain required financial information and supporting documents.
- Assist clients with statutory compliance requirements.
- Support preparation of tax schedules and information required for tax submissions.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior account associates.
- Review work completed by junior team members to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Provide guidance on accounting practices and technical matters.
- Assist management with resource planning and workflow coordination.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Support implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and internal controls.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and best practices.
