Senior Accountant

Our client, a well-established company in the industrial equipment sector with operations across the GCC, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for its Qatar branch. Key responsibilities: • Post all accounting transactions accurately and on time (AP, AR, GL, payroll and fixed assets) • Prepare monthly bank, vendor and customer reconciliations • Manage the branch petty cash • Ensure compliance with Qatar tax regulations and support tax return filing • Coordinate with internal and external auditors • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash flow planning • Monitor receivables, supplier accounts, inventory and procurement • Maintain internal controls and organized financial records

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce • ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent (full or part-qualified) preferred • 5–7 years of accounting experience • At least 2–3 years of experience in Qatar (mandatory) • Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred) • Advanced Excel skills • Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and spoken English • Valid Qatar driving license preferred (not mandatory) • Available to join immediately or on short notice (candidates in Qatar with a transferable visa preferred)
