Senior Accountant / Accountant
Veracity Group is the global outsourcing arm of St Anthony's Group of Industries, specializing in Business Process Management and Knowledge Process Management Services in key areas of Finance & Accounting, Process Automation, Data Science & Al, Mobility and Customer Experience Services. We cater to a diverse portfolio of clients from the US, UK, Australia, Middle East and Sri Lanka.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to handle monthly management reporting, invoicing, reconciliations and statutory requirements. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, supporting month-end/year-end activities and ensuring accurate financial operations under Corporate Services team handling group accounts.
The Role
- Prepare monthly management reporting including segment reposting.
- Invoicing, Handling General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable Payment support and statutory requirements.
- Carrying out bank reconciliations and Intercompany reconciliations.
- Preparation of schedules / analysis as required by the management.
- Coordinating with Internal & External stakeholders to enhance business support.
- Month-end, Year-end Accounting related activities.
- Maintaining proper filing system.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as assigned.
- Contribute to the team by accomplishing desired results meeting strict deadlines.
- Liaising with banks, Auditors, IRD for related matters.
The Person
- Part qualified in CA Sri Lanka/ACCA or Degree holder in Commerce/ Business Management/ Finance.
- Have minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar capacity with audit experience.
- Experience working with accounting systems.
- Excellent in MS Office with advance Excel.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
The selected candidate will be based full-time at our Corporate Office in Nawala, following the local calendar, and should be available to join in November 2024.
