Senior Accountant - AUS

• Perform bank reconciliations and process invoices, bills, and refunds for multiple entities.
• Monitor and resolve Jira help desk tickets, and respond to customer billing inquiries.
• Track outstanding payments and initiate collection actions.
• Reconcile banking transactions and process invoices/bills in accounting systems.
• Participate in weekly stakeholder team calls and share accounts payable/receivable reports.
• Process payroll, reconcile intercompany transactions, and finalize monthly internal accounting statements.
• Conduct budget vs. actual analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Prepare BAS, superannuation payments, and VAT returns; assist with year-end financial statements.
• Assist with annual budget preparations and finalize STP reporting.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc projects like deploying financial workbooks, preparing proposals, and investigating fraudulent activities.

The Person

• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QB)
• Familiarity with Hubspot, Brevo, or similar CRM systems
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Notion)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with international accounting standards and practices
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
