Department Overview
Position Summary
The senior accountant is responsible for preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations; applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and procedures; preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements; monitoring compliance with regulatory organizations assisting in preparation of annual audit and tax filings; and reviewing associate accountant and accountant work to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Department Overview
The Accounting Department produces monthly financial statements and variance analysis. Major activities include\: maintaining financial statements with generally accepted accounting principles, monthly posting of operations performance, reconciling general ledger accounts, fixed asset reporting and capital spending tracking, managing the annual financial audit, completing external requests for information, and reporting structure and system maintenance.
