Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and principles, with a focus on reconciliation and compliance with GST and TDS regulations. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the financial decision-making process within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards. - Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. - Manage GST and TDS compliance, including filing returns and maintaining necessary documentation. - Collaborate with the manufacturing department to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory management. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights based on financial data. - Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Tally Prime and other accounting software. - Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial reporting. - Knowledge of GST, TDS, and e-way bill regulations. - Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
