Senior Accountant (Dairy Manufacturing/West Region)

Our client is an Singapore company in the Manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Senior Accountant to join their Finance team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

They are located in West – easily accessible via various modes of transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle general ledger accounting, full sets of accounts and monthly, quarterly and annual closing.

• Prepare management accounts, financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.

• Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting.

• Coordinate statutory audits and prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.

• Prepare GST returns and corporate tax computations, liaising with tax agents and IRAS as required.

• Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts and support banking and treasury activities.

• Ensure compliance with SFRS, statutory requirements and internal controls.

• Support finance process improvements, system enhancements and ad hoc assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts and financial closing.

• Strong knowledge of SFRS, GST, management reporting and audit coordination.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems is an advantage.
