Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on forex accounting, audit and statutory compliance, and GST regulations. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable. - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with statutory requirements. - Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. - Handle forex accounting transactions and ensure proper reporting and documentation. - Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process and provide necessary documentation. - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with GST regulations. - Utilize Tally ERP and Tally software for efficient accounting processes and reporting. - Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of forex accounting and related regulations. - Experience with audit processes and statutory compliance. - Proficiency in GST regulations and filing. - Expertise in Tally ERP and Tally software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
