Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on forex accounting, audit and statutory compliance, and GST regulations. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while adhering to all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable. - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with statutory regulations. - Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. - Handle forex accounting transactions and ensure proper reporting and documentation. - Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process and provide necessary documentation. - Ensure timely filing of GST returns and compliance with all tax regulations. - Utilize Tally ERP and Tally software for efficient accounting processes and reporting. - Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and assist in their professional development. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of forex accounting and related regulations. - Proficiency in audit and statutory compliance processes. - In-depth understanding of GST regulations and filing requirements. - Experience with Tally ERP and Tally software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
