Senior Accountant - Hotels / Restaurants /F&B/ Hospitality

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls. Based in Dubai, this role will oversee key accounting activities, contribute to month-end and year-end close, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate combines solid technical accounting expertise with a hands-on, collaborative approach. Responsibilities: - Manage general ledger activities and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. - Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. - Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. - Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions; investigate and resolve discrepancies. - Monitor accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and fixed assets, ensuring established controls are followed. - Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and the preparation of documentation for internal and external stakeholders. - Help maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and UAE regulations. - Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. - Collaborate with colleagues across finance and other departments to provide timely financial information and resolve queries.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is an advantage. - Several years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for financial close and reporting. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation practices. - Familiarity with UAE tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, is preferred. - Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - High attention to detail, sound analytical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. - Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. - Integrity, discretion, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
