Senior Accountant

Kilcoy Global Foods North America is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with audits. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and contributing to process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data and variances to provide actionable insights.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and process improvements.
• Prepare sales tax filings, property tax filings, and other regulatory reports as needed.
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial records and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Performs other duties as assigned
