Based in Liverpool, the company is a well-known and trusted firm of Certified Practicing Accountants. Operating for over 30 years, they offer clients complete business, tax, and finance solutions. As leaders in the adoption of technology, they utilize the latest cloud-based applications in supporting their clients. Given that the firm is rapidly growing, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their experienced and high-performing team.

The role would be ideal for someone that lives in the west or southwest of Sydney and is looking for a change, looking to expand their experience, or wants to avoid commuting to the CBD.

The key responsibilities of the position will be to: liaise directly with a group of clients, attending to all tax compliance matters, assist clients with bookkeeping and payroll matters, assist with the preparation of complex tax advice, work closely with others in a strong team environment, building and sharing knowledge and skills.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Preferably CA/CPA qualified
  
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional accounting firm
  
• Ability to think laterally and problem-solve complex issues
  
• Proven business, accounting, tax, and superannuation knowledge
  
• Must have solid knowledge in Xero (including payroll)
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
  
• Works well with others
  
• Strong work ethic
  

The company will offer the successful candidate an attractive salary package of between $85k to $120k* plus super. *They are also interested in candidates who may be expecting more than the upper limit of this range; however, this will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
