Senior Accountant (previous experience in consultancy)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take on the comprehensive management of the accounting and taxation of the finance department, participating actively in the financial monitoring and control of the various companies

• Senior Accountant with solid tax knowledge

What you'll do

• Management of the complete accounting cycle, from the opening to the closing of the fiscal year.
• Posting invoices for clients and suppliers.
• Bank reconciliations and treasury management.
• Accounting and monitoring of cash and financial movements.
• Accounting record of payroll and other periodic entries.
• Review and analysis of accounting accounts and ledgers.
• Management and accounting of depreciation.
• Preparation and filing of taxes (VAT, Withholdings, Corporate Tax, etc.).
• Coordination with external advisors when applicable.
• Identification of risks, incidents, and opportunities for improvement in tax matters.
• Preparation of monthly and annual closings.
• Management of payments via transfers and remittances.
• Operations with national and international financial institutions.
• Monitoring and control of cash flows.
• Performance of administrative tasks.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations.
• Advanced handling of office tools and accounting software.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience in a firm and/or consultancy.
• Proficiency in English is highly valued.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
