Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our esteemed office located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in taxation and financial statement finalization, with a proven track record in managing comprehensive accounting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records while adhering to statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Handle end-to-end accounting and financial management activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. - Manage both direct and indirect taxation matters, including the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) within prescribed deadlines. - Oversee GST returns, tax calculations, and ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements. - Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Conduct ledger scrutiny, account reconciliation, and financial reporting to maintain the integrity of financial data. - Collaborate with auditors and relevant departments to address taxation and audit-related matters effectively. - Maintain meticulous accounting records and documentation to support financial operations. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of taxation, accounts finalization, and tax return filing. - Practical experience in handling statutory compliance and financial reporting. - Excellent analytical, accounting, and problem-solving skills. - Candidates with relevant experience in reputed accounting firms or offices will be preferred.
