Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to assist our growing Accounting team and support the Company's growth. As the Controller role takes on higher-level ownership of close, reporting, and WIP judgment, SWECS needs an execution layer underneath to handle the volume of day-to-day accounting work. This position will begin as a temporary assignment with the opportunity to transition to a regular, full-time position based on performance, business needs, and successful completion of the temporary assignment period.

Key Responsibilities

• Support close coordination across all teams
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations & research discrepancies
• Support WIP schedule maintenance and reconciliation
• Handle fixed asset accounting & reconciliation to operational systems
• Support the annual audit
• Assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Solid general ledger and account reconciliation background
• 3+ years of accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction or percentage-of-completion accounting exposure
• ERP experience
