Senior Accountant

We're looking for a detail-oriented and ownership-driven Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. You'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate books of accounts, timely compliance filings, and seamless financial operations across multiple sales channels. Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
• Perform end-to-end reconciliation across website, marketplaces, payment gateways, banks, and ledgers.
• Track settlements, refunds, chargebacks, and identify revenue discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor invoices, payment schedules, and vendor coordination.
• Process vendor payments through banking platforms and RazorpayX.
• Handle payroll inputs, validations, statutory deductions, and payroll records.
• Own end-to-end GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns within prescribed timelines.
• Work directly on government portals including GST, TRACES, and Income Tax.
• Coordinate with external auditors and Chartered Accountants during audits and assessments.
• Support monthly MIS preparation and financial reporting for leadership.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and strong financial controls.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or statutory compliance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tally.
• Proven experience in end-to-end GST and TDS return filing.
• Experience in D2C, e-commerce, or high-volume transaction environments is preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory regulations.
• Hands-on experience with government compliance portals.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of ownership.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Shopify, Razorpay, RazorpayX, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to audits, assessments, and financial reporting processes.
