A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join its Trim office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a client portfolio while working closely with Partners and senior leadership. The role offers strong exposure to advisory and compliance work across the agri and SME sectors, with clear progression prospects.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing financial statements and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery

Acting as a trusted advisor to clients across agri and SME sectors

Liaising directly with Partners on technical and advisory matters
-
Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members
-
Contributing to business growth and strengthening long-term client relationships
The Ideal Candidate
-
ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a public practice environment
-
Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax compliance
-
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
-
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
-
Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
-
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities
