The Opportunity
A well-established and growing professional services firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Midlands team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of SME and agri-sector clients, working closely with Partners and specialist teams to deliver high-quality advisory and compliance services.
The role offers strong progression potential within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you will:

Manage a portfolio of SME and agri-sector clients

Review financial statements and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
-
Provide advisory support to clients on business performance and strategic decisions
-
Work closely with Partners to support regional growth initiatives
-
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal processes
-
Support and mentor junior team members where required
About You
You will be:

ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience within public practice
-
Strong technically across accounts preparation and tax compliance
-
Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
-
Highly organised with strong deadline management capability

An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Motivated, proactive, and committed to professional development
