Senior Accountant with Key ERP Project Role

About the role

Due to the dynamic growth of the Group and the launch of our new ERP system implementation project, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant with Key ERP Project Role.

This person will play a key role in driving the local implementation of the project within the accounting department in Poland and support team in daily tasks.

What you will be doing

• Acting as the Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the ERP implementation project
• Serving as the main link between Accounting, ERP consultants, and internal IT teams
• Reviewing and mapping existing accounting processes and helping design target solutions
• Supporting the configuration of accounting processes in the new ERP system, with a focus on Invoice Workflow and Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Gathering and translating business requirements into system and process requirements
• Coordinating testing activities and supporting go-live preparation
• Monitoring project tasks, open issues, and implementation milestones
• Working closely with Group Accounting and other departments involved in the project
• Driving process improvements and supporting accounting process automation initiatives
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
• Supporting VAT settlements and preparation of JPK-VAT files
• Supporting the Accounting team in selected day-to-day activities

What we are looking for

• 3-6 years of experience in accounting, including experience in an independent role such as Senior Accountant, Accountant, or Auditor
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Very good command of both Polish and English, enabling effective cooperation with local stakeholders and international project teams
• Practical experience in ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, or process transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Good understanding of VAT settlements, JPK-VAT reporting, and Polish tax regulations (VAT and CIT)
• Experience working with document workflows and electronic document management solutions
• Experience in process improvement, automation, or accounting process optimization initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Openness to change and continuous improvement
