Senior Accounting Consultant (Banking)

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant for one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

About the assignment:
The consultant will play a key role in financial and regulatory reporting activities within a banking environment. This is a full-time assignment supporting both local and group reporting requirements in a highly regulated international context.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead financial and regulatory reporting to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen)
• Manage reporting to the Riksbank and Statistics Sweden (SCB)
• Support group reporting and consolidation processes in an international environment
• Oversee hedge accounting including documentation, effectiveness testing, and ongoing reporting
• Interpret and implement regulatory and accounting requirements with high accuracy

Profile & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in senior accounting and financial reporting roles within the banking sector
• Proven track record with regulatory reporting in Sweden (Finansinspektionen, Riksbank, SCB)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in complex reporting processes
• Experience in international group environments with consolidation expertise
• Stakeholder management and communication skills for dynamic financial organizations
