SUMMARY: Senior Accounting Manager oversees complex accounting activities, including month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulations. They analyze financial data for forecasting, assist with budgets, audit preparation, and mentor junior staff. Key requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting, strong Excel skills, and 3-5+ years of experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Close Process Leadership: Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Compliance & Audit: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure financial records adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and tracking financial trends to support decision-making.
- Team Support: Mentor, guide, or supervise junior accounting staff and improve accounting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
