Summary

Senior Accounts Executive handles monthly AP/AR reconciliations, journal vouchers, balance sheet schedules, and statutory reporting for a Singapore-based finance team.

Job requirements

  • Review and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) trade postings on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal vouchers (JVs) in accordance with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate and prepare annual AIS reporting submissions within stipulated deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly surveys and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) incoming funds, issue email notifications, and apply receipts accurately on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and input quarterly consolidation packages to support group financial reporting.
  • Review and monitor cash flow projections, including weekly short-term forecasts and quarterly long-term cash flow planning.
  • Perform monthly voyage accrual runs and ensure accurate recognition of related expenses.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, including preparation of GCA budgets and consolidation of divisional budgets under a single entity.
  • Undertake ad hoc finance and accounting assignments as required from time to time.

Additional Duties

  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and support finance-related projects when required.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Job requirements

  • Experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related finance function.
  • Good understanding of accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end closing processes.
  • Familiarity with GST, taxation matters, and audit support activities will be advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Salary Range : $4,500.00 – $5,000.00

Completion Bonus: 1 month's salary upon successful completion of the contract
