Senior Accounts Executive

Senior Accounts Executive in Singapore manages regional financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial documents and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain billing processes and reports, ensuring all billings are complete and reconciled with the General Ledger (GL).
- Monitor and submit periodic financial reports and documents required by Management.
- Assist in supervising Accounts staff and overseeing overall financial functions and information systems.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including managing the month-end closing process, reparing and posting accrual and closing journal entries, making correction journal entries for account discrepancies and preparing financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Manage accounting processes and activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), account reconciliations, and related functions for assigned countries within the region.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders to support intercompany transactions and activities.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial firms, and government authorities, where required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal finance requirements, including tax filings (GST, WHT, CIT, etc.), audits, regulatory submissions, procedures, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Support the implementation of new processes and financial systems when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or a professional accounting qualification recognised by the ISCA.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with prior audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the accounting standards.
- Regional accounting experience covering Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand would be an advantage.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas offices, including Taiwan and Chinese-speaking associates.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Independent, detail-oriented, proactive and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to overseas operations as required.
