Senior Accounts Executive (GAAP and JSOX) – 1 year contract

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting, credit control and month-end closing activities in compliance with Accounting Standards, GAAP and JSOX.
• Handle GL, cost centre accounting, budgeting, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, fixed assets and AP processing.
• Prepare GST, corporate tax, transfer pricing, statutory filings and management reports.
• Support internal/external audits, JSOX compliance and statutory requirements.
• Conduct customer credit assessments, monitor collections, aging and country/bank risk, and release blocked orders.
• Manage Documentary Credit requirements and ensure accurate financial documentation.
• Support ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and multitasking skills, with ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of international trade finance and payment methods.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Adaptable, proactive and open to new challenges and ideas.
