Senior Accounts Manager Reporting

Position: Onsite

Timing: 9pm to 6am (Night Shift)

Location: The Enterprise Building, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore

Position Summary

The Senior Manager – Reporting is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting across all entities. This role combines the core operational and managerial responsibilities of an accounting leader with an elevated, strategic mandate covering multi-entity reporting, taxation, banking relationships, investor reporting, systems implementation, and team performance optimization. The Senior Manager – Reporting acts as a key link between the accounting function, senior management, local entities, clients, and external partners such as banks and auditors.

Core Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, develop financial models, and work with other departments to ensure accurate financial projections.

Team Management: Manage accounting staff, including hiring, training, and development; set goals and objectives; and ensure team members have the resources needed to perform effectively.

Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all accounting regulations and standards, coordinating with internal and external auditors and the compliance department.

Analysis & Decision Support: Develop financial analysis to support decision-making by senior management and other departments.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Client & Customer Service: Address and resolve client issues and concerns related to accounting or financial reporting.

Month-End / Year-End Close: Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all accounting records are accurate and timely.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models and analysis to support decision-making by senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.

Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Strategic Focus Areas

Multi-Entity & Tax Management: Take an active role in multi-entity financial management and resolve issues related to taxation across jurisdictions.

Local Entity Reporting: Increase involvement in local entities' financial reporting and funds management to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Client Remittances & Team Alignment: Strengthen oversight of client remittances and work closely with team leads to keep them motivated on both work-related and team-related matters.

Systems Implementation: Lead the implementation of accounting software to support local reporting requirements.

Banking Relationships: Coordinate with bank managers to negotiate and secure favorable banking rates and terms.

Investor Reporting: Maintain the investor dashboard for purchased accounts receivable and ensure the accuracy of balance sheets across all entities.

Team Task Management: Ensure team leads complete departmental tasks and rationally distribute work among team members to maximize output.

Organizational Design: Realign job roles within the team as necessary to optimize overall team performance.

Audit Reporting: Develop audit reports covering incoming cash and daily transaction audits.

Systems Access Management: Assist in managing access controls on CRM

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.

• Proven experience of 4+ years in a senior accounting or financial reporting management role, ideally within a multi-entity organization.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, including team leads and accounting staff.

• Experience with accounting software implementation and financial systems.

• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, including experience liaising with banks, auditors, investors, and clients.

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
