The Position…
In
this position, you will be a
highly productive and functioning member of the team, managing work at volume
and with technical knowledge and agility.
The key responsibilities
of this role will be to:
· liaise
directly with clients
· attending to
all tax compliance matters
· assist with
preparation of complex tax advice
· provide business
advisory services, including commercial and business planning
· provide
advice on self-managed super funds
You must have a high
level of knowledge of business services and be able to complete work
efficiently, recognize issues of concern and opportunities as they arise, and
take steps to resolve or maximize those issues. You will have a high level of
taxation knowledge beyond basic compliance and will apply this knowledge to
your work. You will work cooperatively with the team, sharing your knowledge
with other team members and contributing to the team as a whole.
The Ideal Candidate…
The
ideal candidate will have the following:
· Commenced or completed the CA/ CPA
studies with the Institute of
Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand
· Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a professional chartered
accountancy or CPA firm
· Excellent at building great client relationships
· Strong verbal
and written communication skills
· Effective
time management
· Strong
technical ability and attention to details
· Knowledge of
business services and taxation
· Ability to
meet performance targets
· Organized,
resourceful and good at utilizing technology
