Senior AI Applications Developer

You will lead the architecture and development of backend and AI application systems. You will integrate LLMs, RAG systems, embeddings, agents, and distributed pipelines; establish engineering practices; improve reliability, performance, scalability, and security; mentor less experienced developers; and document reusable components and technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve backend architectures using Python, FastAPI, and APIs
• Lead the integration of AI models, including LLMs, RAG systems, embeddings, and agent frameworks
• Architect and maintain ML and agent pipelines and distributed services
• Enforce testing, CI/CD, code-quality, and documentation practices
• Participate in code reviews and guide technical decisions
• Mentor and support junior and intermediate developers
• Ensure the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of deployed applications
• Collaborate with researchers, developers, designers, and project managers to align products with user needs
• Document architectural decisions, shared components, and technical flows
• Develop reusable internal libraries, frameworks, and system components
• Monitor emerging GenAI, LLMOps, and agent-based architecture practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, applied mathematics, AI, or a related field
• 5–7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus
• Excellent command of Python, API development, database integrations, distributed systems, and backend design
• Strong software architecture, system design, testing, CI/CD, debugging, and performance optimization skills
• Proven experience integrating LLM, RAG, agent, embedding, or vector database systems in real-world applications
• Ability to lead initiatives in a multidisciplinary environment
• Proficiency in French and English
