About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI-Assisted Software Engineer to lead the development of business applications and backend services across multiple projects.
You will take ownership of complex technical tasks, contribute to system architecture, mentor developers and leverage AI coding tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications, backend services and APIs using TypeScript/JavaScript and Go.
Maintain and optimise existing PHP systems.
Design and improve high-concurrency, high-availability applications.
Lead complex development tasks, system integrations and performance optimisation.
Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance and collaborate with project stakeholders.
Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development, testing and debugging while ensuring code quality and security.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, including Vue or React and Node.js.
Strong Go backend development skills and solid PHP experience.
Experience with high-concurrency and high-availability systems, caching, message queues and database optimisation.
Solid understanding of system architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL databases, performance and security.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or GitHub Copilot, including reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
Experience with Git, testing, Docker and CI/CD.
Strong problem-solving, technical ownership and mentoring skills.
Good command of English and Chinese, including fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ThinkPHP, Gin, Redis or Python.
Experience with AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, CloudWatch, Prometheus or Grafana.
Experience with e-commerce or high-traffic platforms.
Experience setting up AI coding agent workflows, including CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md, MCP integrations and reusable agent configurations.
