Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced (Senior) AI Cloud Engineer to join our technical solutions team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Linux systems and large-scale distributed environments. This role requires a deep understanding of high availability, scalability, and security best practices. In addition, the candidate will support the deployment of AI workloads and GPU clusters across hybrid infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Kubernetes (K8s) clusters optimized for multi-tenant, high-performance AI training and inference.
Optimize containerized workloads utilizing massive GPU resource pools, focusing on job scheduling, resource allocation, and minimizing latency.
Standardize and automate environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
Build and maintain robust GitOps pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions) to streamline the deployment of AI frameworks and models.
Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana) tailored to track both cluster health and specialized hardware utilization (GPUs/TPUs).
Partner with research institutes, tech enterprises, and internal data science teams to onboard and optimize their large-scale AI workloads onto the supercomputing platform.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration and large-scale infrastructure operations.
3+ years of hands-on experience orchestrating and managing production Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
Proven experience with private cloud platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Nutanix, Proxmox, OpenStack, CloudStack).
Experience with networking concepts (e.g., VLANs, firewalls, load balancers).
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible).
Awareness of cloud and system security principles, including hardening, monitoring, and compliance frameworks.
Self-motivated and capable of working in fast-paced, production-critical environments.
Hands-on experience managing GPU or AI workloads in HPC or cloud environments is a strong advantage.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as AI Cloud Engineer
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
Direct experience handling GPU-accelerated containers (NVIDIA CUDA, Triton Inference Server, ROCm).
Familiarity with high-performance networking (InfiniBand, RoCE) and distributed storage solutions common in supercomputing environments.
Experience with AI orchestration tools like Kubeflow, Ray, or Slurm-Kubernetes integration.
