Senior AI Developer (Insurance)
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the technology team, you will:- Design, develop, and implement innovative AI-driven solutions and automation capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Build and enhance AI assistants, intelligent agents, chatbots, and workflow automation tools.
- Integrate AI services and models into existing business systems and applications.
- Develop robust, scalable software solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Support data-driven decision-making through advanced AI, RAG, semantic search, and analytics solutions.
- Optimise AI performance, scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while continuously improving existing platforms.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership on modern development practices and emerging AI technologies.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, best practices, and innovation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Microsoft Developer within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, products, processes, and business requirements.
- Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, APIs, and related web technologies.
- Strong database and integration experience, including SQL Server and modern data platforms.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business challenges into effective technology solutions.
Advantageous Experience
- Exposure to AI and Machine Learning development.
- Experience with Microsoft AI technologies, AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, Agent Framework, AI Studio, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Power Platform solutions.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, vector databases, Redis, RabbitMQ, and cloud-native architectures.
