(Senior) AI Developer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our AI development team, we are looking for a motivated AI Developer (m/f/d) – whether you are at the beginning of your professional career or already bring several years of experience in developing AI-powered applications.

• Development of AI-powered applications:
  Design and implementation of intelligent software solutions based on modern large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-based systems
• Backend development with Python:
  Development of scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI
• Implementation of agent-based AI workflows:
  Design and development of sophisticated AI workflows and orchestration concepts using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
• Integration of external services and tools:
  Development and integration of custom services, interfaces, and extensions into AI ecosystems and business processes
• Research and evaluation of new AI technologies:
  Continuous monitoring of current AI trends, frameworks, and best practices and transfer of innovative approaches into productive applications
• Collaboration on future-oriented projects:
  Participation in projects related to workflow optimization, OCR and document processing, automated data extraction, and computer vision applications in technical environments

• Strong Python and AI expertise:
  Very good knowledge of Python and experience with modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, LangChain and LangGraph
• Agentic AI development:
  Practical experience with agentic design patterns, AI orchestration and modern LLM-based application architectures
• Additional programming skills:
  Experience with at least one additional programming language such as C++, Java, or JavaScript/React is desirable
• Cloud and container technologies:
  Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments, as well as cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Databases and development tools:
  Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and confident use of Git and/or Jira
• Nice to have:
  Experience with PyTorch and/or knowledge of CAD/CAM environments
• Language skills:
  Fluent German and good English skills for working in our international team
