The Senior AI DevOps Engineer is a senior technical leadership position responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly compliant cloud architectures across Azure and AWS for core banking and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, highly compliant cloud architectures across Azure and AWS for core banking and AI platforms.
• Lead the institution’s hybrid‑cloud strategy, FinOps optimization, and zero‑trust security implementations, ensuring alignment with financial regulations such as PCI‑DSS and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Translate complex business requirements into high‑level (HLD) and low‑level designs (LLD).
• Establish cloud cost‑management frameworks and resource‑optimization strategies to maintain high‑performance infrastructure cost‑effectiveness.
• Design and secure end‑to‑end multi‑cloud deployment pipelines, embedding automated vulnerability gating, code auditing, and deployment compliance controls.
• Act as a key technical advisor to senior business units and risk committees, defending architectural decisions and technical risk trade‑offs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid‑level engineering and development teams, driving best practices in infrastructure automation, cloud routing, and identity management.
• Mentor future leaders, empower teams to think independently, and foster a culture of curiosity, reflection, and resilience.
• Align strategy with execution, set clear goals, drive accountability, and support performance.

Qualifications

• In‑depth technical architecture knowledge across AWS and Azure, including identity ecosystems, serverless workloads, and database engines.
• Deep practical knowledge of designing architectures that comply with banking standards such as PCI‑DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, and local financial regulations.
• Advanced capability in drafting complex, modular, reusable enterprise infrastructure templates using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Proficiency in structuring secure network typologies, cloud‑native firewalls, private service endpoints, and cross‑cloud secure mesh routing.
• Exceptional ability to articulate abstract technical architectures into concrete business value summaries for senior non‑technical leadership.
• Minimum eight years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or systems architecture, with at least three years as a senior engineer or tech lead across dual‑cloud environments.
• Documented experience designing and engineering automated infrastructure within a regulated tier‑1 or tier‑2 banking or insurance institution.
• Proven track record of authoring, defending, and delivering production‑ready high‑level and low‑level designs to corporate architecture boards.
• Experience directing technical workloads, establishing engineering velocity metrics, and upskilling cross‑functional platform delivery squads.

Preferred Qualifications

• High‑level certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, or advanced FinOps credentials.
• Conceptual or hands‑on mastery of enterprise Kubernetes platforms (AKS/EKS), including automated policy engines and workload identity controls.
• Familiarity with deploying and scaling cloud infrastructure optimized for machine learning data pipelines, model registries, and large language model orchestration layers.
