BoomerangFX is the fastest-growing AI-powered practice management platform in private-pay healthcare, operating across 6+ countries. We're building the next generation of clinical AI, starting with Auvia, our autonomous patient engagement co-pilot.

We're looking for a Senior Generative AI Engineer who wants to do more than ship models - someone who wants to architect production‑grade agentic systems on Azure, shape our AI architecture from the ground up, and see their work go live across a global healthcare platform.

This is a hands‑on, individual‑contributor role with real technical ownership, working directly with leadership on where AI takes the business next.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BUILD

AI Solution Development

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions
• Develop production‑grade applications using LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and intelligent automation
• Architect enterprise AI solutions that solve real business challenges
• Build scalable, maintainable AI workflows and services

Generative AI & LLM Applications

• Build and optimize solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure OpenAI
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks
• Develop conversational AI, chatbot, and AI‑agent solutions
• Deploy AI applications within Microsoft Azure environments
• Work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and related technologies

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify AI opportunities and define solution strategies
• Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions
• Present recommendations, prototypes, and solution designs to stakeholders
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve AI model performance
• Establish testing, validation, and evaluation frameworks after a null? Let's continue properly.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU - straight numbers, no guessing games

• 8+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Development, or AI Consulting
• 5+ years of hands‑on Python development experience
• 2+ years building production‑grade Generative AI, NLP, chatbot, or LLM-based applications
• 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services
• 2-3+ years of Canadian work experience
• Hands‑on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, AI agents, and workflow automation
• Track record of taking AI solutions from proof‑of‑concept to production
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Legally authorized to work in Canada today — not in‑process, not pending

EDUCATION

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in Healthcare SaaS or Healthcare Technology
• Experience building enterprise‑scale AI products and intelligent automation solutions

• Salary: $80,000-$90,000 + 10% Bonus
