Senior AI engineer builds and deploys AI tools for a London hedge fund, using Python and TypeScript to drive adoption across teams and shape technical strategy.
Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong senior-level software engineering experience with Python and TypeScript
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and interest in applying it in a real-world financial setting
- Experience in financial services, FinTech, or a hedge fund environment, with a solid understanding of industry terminology
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A 2.1 or above in a BSc STEM discipline from a top-tier university such as a Russell Group or Oxbridge institution
- Work closely with our CTO and technology leadership team to introduce and drive adoption of AI tools across the business
- Help establish our technical strategy for AI adoption
- Implement change, tools, and processes in a hands-on and impactful role
- Collaborate with both technical staff and non-technical business stakeholders to influence and support adoption of AI initiatives
