Senior AI engineer for Gen AI development
Summary
A consulting engagement (via emagine) embedding a Senior AI Engineer in a construction-industry client's AI Tech team in Stockholm to pioneer Generative AI adoption. Day to day: build and productionize Gen AI proof of concepts, extend the analytics/AI platform on Microsoft Azure, and build agents, data pipelines and CI/CD, mainly in Python.
emagine is looking for a Senior AI Engineers for our great client within the construction industry.
They are accelerating its AI adoption journey and requires experienced AI Engineers to join the AI Tech team.
Start: Asap or within 1 month
End: 2026-12-31 (extension highly possible)
Location: Stockholm, 2 days/week at the office
About the assignment
As an AI Engineer in the AI Tech team, you will help pioneer the adoption of Generative AI at the company. You will contribute to extending the capabilities of the existing analytics platform to handle more advanced use-cases and leverage these capabilities to tackle business use-cases from end to end.
- Develop and evaluate proof of concepts for new applications, and bring the most promising cases to a production-ready state
- Assist in further enhancing our Gen AI architecture for a modern and scalable AI platform built in Microsoft Azure
- Develop the foundation necessary to handle AI use-cases at scale, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and CI/CD, in collaboration with the existing Business Analytics team
- Support our AI Business team in assessing the most suitable technical approach for use cases identified as requiring a proprietary AI solution
Your profile:
Must haves:
Understanding of the common patterns of applying Large Language Models
Experience with AI-powered search such as vector search or such as Azure AI Search
Experience working with data in Python
Experience working with cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience working with databases, data warehouses, data lakes or similar
Experience building agents with orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Pydantic-AI)
Experience with containerized development and deployment, e.g., Docker or similar tools.
Fluent in Swedish and English
Nice to have:
Experience in web frontend development using tools such as Streamlit or React
Experience working with Databricks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
Experience with SQL
Experience with multi-agent systems
Experience wevaluating and productionizing PoCs
