An Insurtech start-up is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join their team.
Your new role As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for: Design and deliver end-to-end NLP/LLM and agentic AI solutions for healthcare applications. Translate business workflows into scalable AI architectures, including RAG, classification, and agents. Build and optimize LLM pipelines, prompts, and retrieval systems for accuracy, reliability, and efficiency. Develop evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and monitoring systems to ensure quality and safety. Productionize AI systems with MLOps, observability, and cost/latency optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with responsible AI standards.
What you'll need to succeed 8+ years' experience in data architecture, 2+ years in building production AI/ML systems, with strong NLP/LLM expertise. Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and reproducible data workflows. Deep knowledge of LLMs, transformers, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks. Expertise in model optimization, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks. Solid software engineering, MLOps, cloud (Azure Databricks), and containerization skills. Strong focus on responsible AI, data governance, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical problem-solving.
