About the role
Our client — a stealth-mode company that has not been incorporated — is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build an agentic platform that has not been specified. You'll join a team of zero and report to a role that will be defined after you accept.
What you'll do
Design and ship LLM agent workflows against requirements that will never arrive
Own the RAG pipeline, retrieval layer, and eval harness for a product with no users
Reduce p95 latency on an endpoint that does not resolve
Fine-tune a model on a dataset the client has not collected
Participate in on-call rotation for a system that is not deployed
Verify independently whether a job posting is real before submitting an application
Requirements
6+ years in software engineering, or zero, since the role is fictional
Deep experience with PyTorch, vLLM, LangGraph, and at least one framework that was deprecated during this posting's lifespan
Production experience with a vector database of your choosing, including ones that shipped and then didn't
Comfort with ambiguity, defined here as total absence of scope
Nice to have
Publications at NeurIPS, ICML, or a conference you invented
Kubernetes
Compensation
$247,600 base plus equity in a non-existent entity. Unlimited PTO, as the role has no working days.
