Senior AI Engineer (LLMs, RAG, Agents)

Niuro connects US companies with top engineering talent in Latin America. For an HR technology company, we are hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and deploy production-ready AI solutions: LLM applications, intelligent agents, RAG systems and AI-driven features.

You will work with high autonomy alongside engineering and product teams, owning AI features from prototype to deployment and monitoring, and helping set best practices in AI architecture.

What you will do:
- Design and implement LLM-based solutions, including RAG systems, AI agents and copilots.
- Fine-tune, evaluate and deploy proprietary and open-source foundation models.
- Build scalable APIs and services that bring AI capabilities into applications.
- Own the lifecycle of AI features, from experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
- Work with DevOps on CI/CD and infrastructure as code for AI services.
- Implement observability, error tracking and performance monitoring for AI systems.

What you bring:
- 4+ years in AI/ML-focused roles shipping software to production.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral or open-source).
- Experience with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, embeddings and vector databases.
- Experience designing RAG architectures and evaluating LLM-powered applications.
- Strong Python, building APIs with FastAPI, Django or similar.
- Production experience with AWS, GCP or Azure; Docker and Kubernetes are a plus.
- Advanced English (C1).

Remote, long-term contractor engagement.
