Senior AI Engineer

You will build, train, deploy, and operate character AI agents throughout their full lifecycle. You will develop model training and inference pipelines, orchestrate agent swarms, deploy agents to social platforms, and build reliable infrastructure. You will improve feedback loops, implement safety systems, monitor production behavior, and translate creative direction into training parameters.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain training and inference pipelines for character AI agents, including LLM and SLM orchestration and swarm-based architectures
• Deploy and operate AI agents across social media platforms while maintaining consistent character behavior and personality coherence
• Develop tooling for studios and creators to customize agent personality, lore, brand guidelines, and behavioral guardrails
• Build and improve feedback loops using fine-tuning, reward models, RLHF, and RLAIF
• Architect and scale infrastructure for agent deployments, including text, voice, video, and livestreaming capabilities
• Contribute to agentic commerce capabilities, including transactions, product recommendations, and payment-system interactions
• Implement safety and content moderation systems
• Collaborate with studio partners to translate creative direction into training parameters and behavioral specifications
• Monitor agent performance, engagement metrics, and behavioral drift in production

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or machine learning engineering experience, including deploying AI or ML models to production
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and inference optimization
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience building and operating API services and data pipelines at scale
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning techniques, RLHF, reward modeling, or agent framework development
• Understanding of multi-model architectures
• Experience integrating applications with third-party platforms and APIs
• Knowledge of distributed systems, scaling, and reliability
• Experience with character AI, conversational AI, or NPC behavior systems
• Experience with multi-modal AI
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, on-chain payments, or crypto-native commerce
• Experience with MCP or agent-to-agent communication protocols
• Understanding of content safety, trust and safety systems, or responsible AI practices
