An exciting full-time career opportunity is available for a hands‑on Senior AI Engineer / Technical Lead to design, architect, and deliver enterprise‑grade Generative AI solutions in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on advanced applications across conversational AI, intelligent process automation, enterprise business applications, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI, and multi‑agent workflows.

The successful candidate will bring 6–8+ years of experience in software or AI engineering, including at least 3–4+ years of hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade AI solutions. The position requires strong Python programming expertise and practical experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, RAG architectures, embeddings, semantic search, knowledge‑base integrations, vector databases, enterprise APIs, containerization, Kubernetes, AKS, and CI/CD pipelines.

This senior‑level position combines hands‑on AI engineering with technical leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise‑grade Generative AI solutions across conversational AI, process automation, and business applications.
• Architect and implement production‑ready AI applications using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Studio.
• Design Retrieval‑Augmented Generation solutions using embeddings, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge‑base integrations.
• Develop advanced AI applications using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex.
• Integrate vector databases and search technologies such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Build scalable backend services and integrations using Python and REST APIs.
• Design solutions using event‑driven architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Develop and deploy containerized AI applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and CI/CD pipelines to support scalable production deployments.
• Explore and implement agentic AI capabilities and multi‑agent workflows for complex enterprise use cases.
• Lead technical discussions and guide engineers throughout solution design and implementation.
• Influence architectural decisions and establish technical standards for enterprise AI solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, architects, and other technical professionals.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and suitable for production environments.
• Provide technical mentorship and support the professional development of engineering teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–4+ years of hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade AI solutions.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Studio.
• Strong expertise in Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Practical experience with embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge‑base integration.
• Experience with one or more AI orchestration frameworks, including LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex.
• Exposure to vector database and search technologies such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, event‑driven architecture, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of agentic AI architectures and multi‑agent workflows.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide engineering teams.
• Proven ability to influence architecture and technology decisions.
• Strong, structured communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in aviation, banking, healthcare, government, or other regulated industries is considered an advantage.
