About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior AI/ML Data Engineer to enhance their data infrastructure and support AI/ML initiatives in Upington . This role is critical for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems that enable the efficient processing and analysis of large datasets for machine learning applications. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on supporting AI/ML projects.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts for Upington operations.
