Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions in real-world products. This role requires someone who can independently move from research and experimentation to implementation, evaluation and production deployment.

• At least 6 years of commercial experience in AI / Machine Learning
• Strong hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions for real-world products and production environments
• Strong practical knowledge of Python
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI and modern machine learning approaches
• Experience building, testing, deploying and maintaining AI solutions in production
• Experience taking solutions from research / PoC / prototype to production
• Ability to independently research different approaches, implement them and validate results experimentally
• Strong understanding of AI/ML evaluation, including quality, accuracy, reliability, latency and cost
• Experience debugging and improving AI systems based on production behaviour and user feedback
• Strong engineering mindset — the ability to build reliable and maintainable solutions, not only develop models or conduct research

Highly Valued

• Experience with RAG, AI agents, embeddings or semantic search
• Experience with AI evaluation frameworks or LLM observability tools
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience integrating AI models with backend systems and APIs
• Experience with Node.js / JavaScript
• Previous experience in travel technology, hospitality, marketplaces or booking platforms
