About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, build and operate scalable AI platform capabilities that enable the development and deployment of enterprise AI solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating reusable AI services, platform components, APIs, SDKs and integration frameworks that accelerate AI solution delivery across multiple business functions.
This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong software development expertise, particularly in Python, cloud technologies, AI platforms and modern application architecture.
Key Responsibilities
AI Platform Development
Build AI Platforms – Design, develop and maintain scalable AI platform services, APIs, SDKs, and reusable components to support enterprise AI initiatives.
Develop Intelligent Solutions – Create and enhance AI-powered applications leveraging technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents and knowledge retrieval systems.
Drive Platform Reliability – Ensure platform performance, scalability, security and operational excellence through monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Enable Seamless Integration – Develop integrations between AI services, enterprise systems and cloud platforms to support business and technology needs.
Automate & Innovate – Build automation frameworks and developer tools while evaluating emerging technologies to improve efficiency and accelerate AI adoption.
Strengthen Security & Governance – Implement secure development practices and ensure compliance with governance, risk and operational standards.
Collaborate with Stakeholders – Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality AI and technology solutions.
Promote Engineering Excellence – Establish best practices, reusable frameworks and technical standards that enhance solution quality and delivery speed.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Proven experience in software engineering, platform engineering, application development, or AI platform development.
Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade systems in production environments.
Strong hands-on development and integration experience.
Technical Skills
AI & Platform TechnologiesUnderstanding of modern AI platform architectures and components.
Experience working hands-on AI projects, ideally from scratch.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Understanding of cloud-native application architecture.
Familiarity with containerisation and deployment practices.
Knowledge of platform monitoring, performance optimization and operational support.
Understanding of security, governance, and compliance principles in software delivery.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively across engineering, technical, and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, particularly cloud-based AI/ML services.
Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, APIs, and existing technology ecosystems.
