We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior AI Process Analyst to join our Analytics and Insights team.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity

NHC Toka Tū Ake (NHC) is well into its AI journey.

We've moved through experimentation and proof of concept, built the governance, tools and capabilities to implement AI safely, and now we’re investing in the people who will turn that groundwork into real value.

Our new fixed term AI roles are about delivery: redesigning processes with AI and automation and building the skills and confidence across our organisation to make the most of these technologies.

These roles will help us test and strengthen this approach as we continue to learn what works best for NHC Toka Tū Ake.

Key responsibilities include:

The Senior AI Process Analyst will bring a process and service design lens to our AI team, helping us rethink how work could be done rather than simply adding new technology to existing processes.

This is a hands-on design and delivery role. You will work with business teams to understand current ways of working, identify friction and rework, and co-design practical future-state processes with clear roles for people, AI, and automation.

You'll get to put your skills into practice in an organisation nimble enough to move fast and get decisions made.

Skills & Experience| Nga pukenga me nga wheako

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (business, service design, industrial engineering, information systems or similar).
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in business process analysis, mapping and redesign, including leading end-to-end redesign initiatives that delivered measurable change.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI, agents or automation to process redesign.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (business, service design, industrial engineering, information systems or similar).
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in business process analysis, mapping and redesign, including leading end-to-end redesign initiatives that delivered measurable change.
  • proven experience improving complex processes in a business, digital, or technical delivery environment.
  • an interest in AI or automation, with practical experience an advantage.
  • experience designing practical new ways of working with others.
  • strong facilitation, communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • a collaborative, pragmatic approach, with the confidence to challenge current thinking constructively.
