Senior AML Scoring Engineer
Responsibilities:
Deliver the receivables stream within a dedicated Contextual Monitoring solution
Design and implement advanced AML detection logic using contextual data and analytics
Develop and configure scoring models in the monitoring platform
Design and optimize Transaction Monitoring use cases focused on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing detection
Calibrate scoring models and define detection thresholds
Ensure score explainability and compliance with AML model governance requirements
Support large-scale regulatory-driven initiatives involving data integrations, scenario development, testing, and activation across multiple countries
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions
Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical leadership
Requirements:
Deep understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Transaction Monitoring concepts
Proven experience in designing and implementing detection logic and scoring models
Strong experience in data analysis
Practical experience in financial crime projects
Hands-on experience with Agile ways of working
Ability to optimize scoring models, calibrate thresholds, and support model governance requirements
Experience working with contextual data and analytics in high-volume transaction environments
Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Nice to have:
