Senior Analyst, Accounting
You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting. You will prepare account reconciliations, general ledger entries, and financial statements including footnotes and MD&A, and assist with Form 10-K and 10-Q preparation. You will execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, draft technical memos under US GAAP, develop and implement financial controls, and support external audits and regulatory compliance. You will use Excel and financial systems like NetSuite to analyze data, meet deadlines, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes and MD&A
- Assist in preparing Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings
- Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
- Record general ledger entries and maintain ledgers
- Draft technical memos under US GAAP
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
- Support external audits and regulatory compliance efforts
- Perform financial analysis and internal reporting
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of financial data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, audit or external reporting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience preparing or reviewing Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with NetSuite or similar financial software
- Experience with ERP systems
- Financial modeling experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with publicly traded companies
