Senior Analyst, Analytics Engineer

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

  • You will empower our multi-functional teams by Creating advanced analytical solutions that drive data-centric decision making across the entire organization.

  • Your primary focus will involve Developing and transforming datasets using the medallion architecture framework to meet diverse business needs.

  • By Owning a modern tech stack—including Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL—you will build sophisticated data structures while ensuring all deliverables are efficient, sustainable, and thoroughly documented.

  • You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to translate complex requirements into impactful, compliant analytics products.

Responsibilities:

1. Analytics Development

  • You will Collaborate with diverse partners to gather needs and produce compliant, sustainable analytics products. This includes Building insightful visualizations through tools like Sigma or Domo.

  • By Developing consumption layers with Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL, you will provide the robust data structures necessary for sophisticated business reporting.

  • You will ensure all data progression remains high-quality by Following the established medallion architecture framework.

  • You will Leverage our core technology stack to deploy pipelines that align with enterprise-wide best practices and standards.

2. Process Optimization and Innovation

  • Focus on Optimizing internal workflows by automating repetitive tasks and streamlining how analytics are delivered to the organization.

  • You will be responsible for Evaluating modern and emerging technologies to keep our analytics engineering capabilities at the cutting edge.

3. Collaboration and Support

  • You will Translate high-level business data strategies into actionable analytics execution through consistent stakeholder engagement.

  • Support daily operations by Assisting with technical hurdles related to data access and reporting needs.

  • By Cultivating strong relationships across technical and business units, you will work toward shared organizational objectives.

4. Governance and Standards

  • Maintain high technical bars by Reviewing peer code and enforcing engineering best practices across all projects.

  • You will Uphold rigorous compliance with all enterprise policies and data governance standards.

  • Ensure long-term sustainability by Documenting and maintaining critical components within the data ecosystem.



Required Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer or related role.

  • Business Collaboration: At least 2 years of experience in collaborating with business teams, understanding requirements, and translating them into analytics solutions.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Programming: Experience developing in Python and SQL. Proficiency in dbt (optional)

    • Data Warehouses: Experience working with Snowflake (optional)

    • Visualization: Experience developing visualizations in Sigma, Tableau, Domo or similar.

    • Databases: Experience in interacting with and using databases & SQL.

    • Version Control: Experience using Git, GitHub, or other version-controlled code management tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Monitoring: Experience in application-status monitoring, usage of FinOps tools while modeling and executing analytics workloads.

  • Automation: Familiarity with software-automation production systems (GitHub Actions, Selenium, etc.).

  • Deployment: Familiarity with code deployment tools.
