The Role
We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Brand Partnerships to become the technical and strategic backbone of how Moonbug's ad-sales team uses data.
You'll wear two hats. First, as an architect: consolidating pre-sale, sales pipeline, live platform, and audience research data into a single, accurate source of truth that can be piped into LLMs for fast, wide-scale analysis. Second, as an insights partner: building flexible, self-serve reporting infrastructure that lets the wider team generate their own client-ready outputs, freeing you up to focus on what the data actually means — the trends, the opportunities, and the story to tell clients and executives.
If you're technical enough to build and maintain a database, sharp enough to turn messy numbers into a clear narrative for leadership, and grounded in how marketing and advertising data actually gets used, this role offers the chance to shape how Brand Partnerships and our clients make decisions.
Responsibilities
- Data Architecture: Consolidate pre-sale, sales pipeline, live platform, and audience research data into a single, accurate database, working closely with the tech team to build and maintain it.
- LLM-Ready Infrastructure: Structure and administer the database so it can be piped into LLMs for fast, widespread analysis and interpretation.
- Self-Serve Reporting: Build a flexible, grab-and-go reporting system and templates that let stakeholders team create their own outputs.
- Insight Generation: Make data ingestion and visualisation simple — ideally promptable via LLM — so you can spend your time uncovering trends rather than manipulating data.
- Post-Campaign Storytelling: Guide the team on interpreting data for large post-campaign reports and craft insights that land clearly with executive audiences.
- Market + Business Intelligence: Synthesise internal campaign performance with competitive and marketplace data to spot trends, and use that intelligence to help sales prioritise — and deprioritise — the right opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as a business analyst connecting sales and finance, surfacing insight that shapes commercial decisions.
Requirements
- Database Architecture: Proven experience building, structuring, and maintaining databases — ideally having built one from the ground up — with a strong grasp of the technical back end.
- Data Consolidation: Comfortable unifying disparate data sources (sales, platform, audience, pipeline) into one clean, reliable structure.
- LLM & AI Tooling: Experience preparing data for consumption by LLMs and building tools that make data accessible via AI prompting.
- Marketing & Advertising Background: Understanding of the marketing and advertising industry — how its data is structured, and what marketers commonly need from it.
- Insights & Storytelling: Skilled at digging into data to uncover trends and communicating findings clearly to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Business Analysis: Comfortable acting as a bridge between sales and finance, with a head for market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- Reporting Systems: Experience designing flexible, scalable reporting infrastructure that others can self-serve from.
Benefits
- Base Compensation Range: $90,000 - $130,000
- Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
- Retirement Plan (401k)
- Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
- Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
- Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
- Short Term & Long Term Disability
- Training & Development
- Free Food & Snacks
- Wellness Resources
