Senior Analyst, Business Continuity

Summary

Senior Analyst designs and implements business continuity processes for a marine-sector client, mapping workflows and improving non-technical backup plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

We are representing our client in the marine sector to look an experienced Senior Analyst in Business Continuity. He/She is responsible for documenting, designing and implementing business continuity processes across the organization.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize process mapping techniques (e.g. flowchart) to document andvisualize current processes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes and databackup plans (non-technical) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areasfor improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, Operations, Finance, Marketing,Trade, Fleet Management) to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of new or improved processes,including change management activities and employee training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration
  • Preferably minimum 3 years in Business Process Management or Business Process Consulting.
  • Experiencein Cyber/Business Continuity Plan (BCP) will be advantageous.
  • Strong willingness to diligently and accurately document and update process maps and related documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to appropriately influence key stakeholders and effectively challenge their views where necessary.
  • Proficiency with process mapping tool e.g. Miro.
  • Proficiency in MSExcel.
