Senior Analyst, Business Continuity
Summary
Senior Analyst designs and implements business continuity processes for a marine-sector client, mapping workflows and improving non-technical backup plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
We are representing our client in the marine sector to look an experienced Senior Analyst in Business Continuity. He/She is responsible for documenting, designing and implementing business continuity processes across the organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Utilize process mapping techniques (e.g. flowchart) to document andvisualize current processes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes and databackup plans (non-technical) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areasfor improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, Operations, Finance, Marketing,Trade, Fleet Management) to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Collaborate in the implementation of new or improved processes,including change management activities and employee training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration
- Preferably minimum 3 years in Business Process Management or Business Process Consulting.
- Experiencein Cyber/Business Continuity Plan (BCP) will be advantageous.
- Strong willingness to diligently and accurately document and update process maps and related documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to appropriately influence key stakeholders and effectively challenge their views where necessary.
- Proficiency with process mapping tool e.g. Miro.
- Proficiency in MSExcel.
