Essential Functions:

  1. Supports compliance and ethics improvement by conducting assessments and audits; supporting the development of plans to correct deficiencies; ensuring timely execution of plans; preparing reports and presentations; ensuring sensitive data is protected; identifying action items in response to store and market gaps; obtaining operational support of initiatives; leading investigations; escalating issues with compliance and ethics implications; developing market strategies to respond to risks; and aligning company compliance and ethics strategy with market and facility needs.
  2. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
  3. Implements compliance and ethics programs and reviews by identifying industry best practices and incorporating them into compliance and ethics programs; implementing and maintaining compliance and ethics programs; conducting reviews; escalating on-going concerns to leadership.
  4. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
  5. Conducts compliance and ethics training and education by supporting the training strategy; analyzing data to determine trends or areas of opportunity; conducting and facilitating ongoing market or facility level training; ensuring trainers are properly trained; and providing expertise for the development and implementation of compliance and ethics education.
  6. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  7. Implements strategies and programs to mitigate risk by; building relationships with internal business partners to better understand their business practices; sharing best practices across markets; identifying organizational specific ethics strategies; supporting the implementation of ethics programs to ensure needs are met; and supporting projects from concept to implementation to achieve desired results.
  8. Provides proactive ethics guidance and advice by conducting research to ensure consistency of opinions; contacting subject matter experts to understand situation; and responding to clients on requests about facility-level ethics opinions.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above.
  2. Minimum 3 years of solid working experience in intellectual property or item compliance industry.
  3. Sharp attention to detail, sound logical thinking and good adaptive ability to evolving policy requirements.
  4. Strong interpersonal acumen and proven capability in efficient cross-team communication and alignment.
  5. Proficient in both written and spoken English.
